Writer’s Bloc has found a new home!

With heartfelt thanks to Arthur McGregor for allowing Writer’s Bloc to meet at OFC, since, well….forever. We were always made to feel welcome, and an integral part of Ottawa’s folk community. Nothing but well wishes for you Mr. McGregor.

Starting Sunday, September 13, 2015, Writer’s Bloc will be meeting on the second floor of the Carleton Tavern, 223 Armstrong St., beside the Parkdale Market.
It’s a good sized room, and plenty of privacy. There will be no server, but you can bring a beer up if you so choose.
We will be meeting at 2:00 pm once again, and go til 4 – 4:30.

Looking forward to seeing everyone, and hearing some fabulous new songs!

Greg

October 12, 2014

Nothing says Thanksgiving like Writer’s Bloc, don’t you agree?  (don’t answer)
This month’s topics for our meeting on October 12th are:  1)  Don’t Get out Much;  2)  No Time to Waste;  3)  Easy for you to say;  4)  I Forget.
As usual, we’ll meet at the Ottawa Folklore Centre (OFC, 1111 Bank Street) in the large room at the bottom of the stairs from 2:30 til 4:30.
Come early and pick up some strings, or what have you, and help support the Folklore Centre, as they have supported us over the years.
See you on the 12th!!

Greg
